Dave Mustaine Introduction

Dave Mustaine, formerly known as David Scott, who came into this world on September 13, 1961 in La Mesa, California, USA, is the Megadeth's songwriter and singer and guitarist. He spent his youth in Southern California suburbs. As the focus figure of Megadeth and a old Metallica songwirter and lead guitarist, he is also one of many forerunners of trash metal and speed metal music.Three Decades Ago when Dave Mustaine left his initial band Panic, Metallica's drummer Lars put up an ad searching for a lead guitarist. Therefore he joined up with Metallica as being the team's lead guitarist.Just after expelled by Metallica in 1983, Mustaine was fairly offended, and vowed to put together their particular band. Thus he organized Fallen Angels this year, and within the summer he found bassist Dave Ellefson, and ultimately they established Megadeth, starting off one more thrash tale.

Jackson Y2KV

The Jackson Y2KV was designed by Dave Mustaine, who was simply looking to set up a significantly less provocative, look modified flying v guitar. Compared with his frequently employed king v, this instrument, as Mustaine's personal designs, mainly used for the tour of Risk and the World Needs a Hero. Actually, this instrument never ever mass produced.

Jackson y2kv dave mustaine signature guitar was designed in 2000 (please pay a visit to the above jackson Atlas2000). Atlas2002 is down below. The primary batch of thirty two Y2KV was manufactured in Jan . 2000, set up from March to August. Another above 80 instruments were processed in Sept 2000, as well as the last thirty three had been processed in December. Just before this series was ended in 2002, more 150 were created.

Dave mustaine had got a lorry of Y2KV models, he got ten from the first batch of 32, and it appeared that he took an additional fifteen later. He had many customized Y2KV guitar and had marketed out most of the Y2KV guitars, the initial time via Andy Brauer, and later on by means of eBay, others were presented to his friends. On Andy Brauer Auction 2002, Dave virtually sold all Y2KV electric guitars of the first batch. The picture below is one of the electric guitars at auction.

Once the contract of Dave and jackson were expired, he got a great deal of Y2KV, each one of which had a high serial number, and was sold on ebay.

Jackson Custom Store Y2KV

The photo below is J6612, and the only one 12-string Y2KV, along with the J6648 featured a silver sparkle finish and a floyd rose bridge. The 2 instruments had always been within Dave's hands and was traded online on megadeth official site.

Jackson Doubleneck Y2KV

Jackson also crafted a double head Y2KV for Dave and marketed it via Andy Brauer. This guitar was most likely to become among the list of larger electric guitars made by Jackson.

In general, there are a lot of Dave's Y2KV, every of which is classic, what we duplicated is the American flag design. we continuously researched the features of the design, and duplicated it as equivalent as possible. The woods we used are the exact same as those used on the genuine design. The wood for neck, body and fretboard are all the same as the genuine ones (all high high quality wood!) The default pickups we used are Wilkinson pickups, which is not just quality assured but in addition cost-effective.

Because our guitars are tiny batch created, the cost, in comparison with those custom produced types, is way more acceptable. However, the stock is limited, so should you genuinely enjoy this product, please take the chance to contact us immediately.
