About the original Dave Mustaine King V KV1
The KV1 is a Dave Mustaine signature model and is the first commercially-sold model of the King V. Previously known as the King V Pro, the KV1 supersedes the King V Pro and eliminated the Cherryburst finish in favor of a natural Korina wood finish. The tuners were replaced with LSR locking tuners as well. The end- points were shortened from the prototype created for Robbin Crosby as it was created as a "Double-Rhoads" which has a longer point than this model (The "Double-Rhoads" has 2 equal length long points). All other variants below stemmed from this design. USA-made versions of this guitar are highly-coveted by metal guitarists and are no longer in production.

Features of Our Dave Mustaine King V KV1 Guitar
In previous years, KV1 had been highly-coveted by many metal guitarists. There are only about 200 around in the whole world. Dave Mustaine has used these guitars throughout his career and that Megadeth sound is evident on this one. Really aggressive attack and thick middle range. But this guitar was out of production in 2001. That's really a pity for many fans of Dave Mustaine and KV1. That's why we made the replica of KV1.
In order to to keep the same with the original KV1 to the greatest extent, we have adopted the high-quanlity Kahler Bridge. Please refer to below pictures.
In the above spec-sheet, you can see that our replicated KV1 guitars exactly followed the original KV1's specifications. The body construction is neck-through. As we all know that the neck-through structure is more firm and stable than that of set-in. But neck-through structure needs high quality wood. So you can rest assured to the usage of our wood. The fretboard is ebony with Pearl Shakfins inlays.
How to Sound like Dave Mustaine
About Dave Mustaine
Dave Mustaine was born in La Mesa, California, to Emily and John Mustaine. His mother is Jewish but Dave was brought up as a Jehovah's Witness.By the age of 17, Mustaine had rented his own apartment and was surviving financially by dealing drugs. One of his clients, Willow , was often short of cash, but worked in a record store, so in return for drugs, she offered albums by artists such as AC/DC, Motörhead and Judas Priest in trade, which helped form his taste in heavy metal. In the 1970s, Mustaine began playing piano and later electric guitar, most notably a B.C. Rich and joined a band known as Panic for a short time.
About other Dave Mustaine Guitars:Dave Mustaine Y2KV
Y2KV was designed by Dave Mustaine, in an effort to create a less aggressive and retro-looking flying V guitar, to contrast for his usual King V. It was mainly used for touring of Risk and The World Needs a Hero as Mustaine's own model, with less than a dozen produced, including some prototypes. Eventually, the Y2KV went mass production and introduced in 2000.The Y2KV is a Dave Mustaine signature model and differs from all other King Vs in that it has rounded ends which seem similar to that of the Gibson Flying V. Because it was based much more heavily on the Gibson Flying V. For the closure song "Holy Wars", Mustaine uses a Y2KV stars and stripes (USA flag).
